Erica McLean is an intellectually gifted and highly optimistic local educator and Cross-Fit athlete who grew up on the Gitxsan First Nation, several hundred kilometres west of Prince George.

After years of working as an Indigenous education worker and community school coordinator, Erica McLean is now running for a seat on School District No. 57’s board of education as a Trustee. She was also named the Brink Group Athlete of the Month in the summer of 2021.
