On The Brink | Kyle Sampson | Episode #51

Kyle Sampson is a Councillor with the City of Prince George and also manages the marketing, communications, events, sales, community partnerships, and charitable giving for Pacific Western Brewing in Northern British Columbia.

Kyle’s public appointment on October 20, 2018 made him the youngest person elected in the history of Prince George’s City Council. Kyle was named a Top 40 Under 40 in the 2018/19 publication with the Prince George Chamber of Commerce for his accomplishments in business and significant community involvement. He and his team were recipients of the Top Marketing Campaign Award at the 2019 BEA’s for the success of their 3-day classic rock music festival, Cariboo Rocks The North in Prince George.

Sampson moved with his family to Prince George in 2002 where he completed his schooling and began a career in Broadcasting and the Entertainment Industry. After a two year stint in Edmonton, he returned to Prince George in 2013. Currently he In addition, he continues his work as a freelance professional in the entertainment and music industry, and continues to volunteer his time and expertise with a number of local organizations, groups, events, and not-for-profits.

In 2016, Sampson was awarded the Community Ambassador Award at the Prince George Chamber of Commerce Business Excellence Awards. In 2017, he received the Above and Beyond Award from Premier John Horgan for his efforts and selflessness in service of the Province in the response to the 2017 Wildfires.
