Nicole Currie coordinates the Meals on Wheels program for the Prince George Council of Seniors.
Prince George Council of Seniors (PGCOS) – located on Brunswick Street in downtown Prince George – has been providing affordable and nutritious hot noon meals to elderly, homebound, post-operative, and disabled individuals for over 20 years now. PGCOS is very proud of its Meals on Wheels Service, as well as the fact that Meals on Wheels is much more than just food delivery; it’s literally saving lives!
PGCOS have a difference-making ADOPT-A-SENIOR Program that costs $180 to provide meals to a local senior for an entire month. Meals are delivered weekdays between 11:00 am and 12:00 noon by dedicated volunteers.
PGCOS is a registered charity that operates several programs, services and events to enhance the lives of Seniors in the Prince George area. You will find all the information needed for those programs, services and events at the Seniors Resource Centre.
